Flagship tool / works with any assistant

Build a prompt that gets the answer you actually want.

The difference between a mediocre AI answer and a genuinely useful one is usually the question. Fill in six guided fields, watch the structured prompt assemble itself, then copy it into ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini or any assistant you use. Share the link with a colleague and they get your exact prompt, editable.

Start from an example

A role focuses the answer. "An experienced HR advisor" answers differently from "a copywriter".

One clear deliverable, with a verb. Draft, summarise, compare, list, rewrite, explain.

The facts that change the answer: audience, situation, history, key details. No confidential data.

Shape saves editing: a table, bullet points, a 100-word paragraph, an email with subject line.

Optional but powerful: friendly but firm, formal, plain-language, upbeat.

Boundaries prevent rework: what to leave out, what must appear, length limits.

Why this works

  • A role focuses the answer; a bare question gets a generic one.
  • Context changes everything: assistants cannot know what you did not say.
  • Naming the format saves the second round of "now make it shorter".
  • The closing line invites the assistant to ask instead of guessing.
  • Never paste confidential or personal data into any assistant.

Not sure what to ask an assistant in the first place?

The role quiz maps what an assistant can take off your plate this week, with a starter prompt for each, pre-loaded into this builder.
